Handmade Pasta Goodness At Cupini's

We had dinner at Cupini's a few nights ago and this local deli/restaurant is one of my favorite food havens. The folks at Cupini's are masters of fresh, handmade pasta using all-natural ingredients. We first experienced their creative pasta and salad concoctions at a Liberty locale that no longer exists, but thankfully the Westport and our nearby Parkville locations rock on. Parkville's sharp decor includes a wall display dedicated to local legend Bill Grigsby and outdoor seating just itchin' to fill up as the Spring temps start to moderate.

If there's any complaint I have with Cupini's, its that I always have a difficult time choosing amongst the selections. I've never had anything at Cupini's that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. I finally settled on their handmade Gnocchi Bolognese and a tomato and cucumber salad with an amazing vinaigrette. The gnocchi were light and slightly doughy and topped off with a delicious homemade tomato and meat sauce and fresh Parmesan. Keith completely enjoyed his portabello panini and fresh tomato and mozzarella salad.

It was marvelous to return to Cupini's and experience their signature fresh pasta goodness. We also picked up a jar of their porcini mushroom sauce. The good folks at Cupini's have been here since 2003 and as they say, "Benvenuti a Cupini's!" Check them out here.

  1. I love Gnocchi! Especially with vodka sauce. Cucumber and tomato salad reminds me of your mom and dad and the garden and summertime in WV and...well...just all things good!
